DOORSTEP MONEY RITUAL

Many people have feelings of shame and guilt surrounding money and asking for money. Terms like abundance and prosperity land more softly on the ego than "money." However, it is important in ritual and spellwork to be clear about your wants and intentions.

This front door/doorstep ritual is a shameless appeal to the universe to invite money to your front door. The best time to do this spell is on a Thursday just after a new moon, as it will marinate/simmer for 7 days before use.

ITEMS NEEDED

• A bowl

• Choose from the following herbs

• Fresh basil leaves

• Chamomile

• Cinnamon sticks

• Fresh dill

• Ground nutmeg

• Dried orange peel

• Vanilla beans or paste

• Some large bills (20's or higher)

• Saucepan

• White vinegar

• Athame or wand

• Bottle or jar with a tight lid

• Your favorite money oil (available at Wellness Uprising)

WHAT TO DO

• Put your chosen herbs in the bowl

• Mix the herbs with your hands, while telling the herbs that they are marinated in money, money is their nature, they are deeply connected with money. You must feel conviction in your instruction. The herbs are 'catching' wealth from the money in the bowl.

• Fill the jar with the ingredients and coins (remove the bills)

• Bring the vinegar to a simmer in a saucepan, then pour it into the jar

• Point your wand or athame at the jar, sending power as you say:

By the power of the Lady and Lord,

By the power of my will and word,

Money follow where you go,

Money follow where you are,

Money blessings at my door,

So mote it be.

• When the jar has cooled to the touch, seal the lid tightly.

• Using the money oil, draw a symbol that you believe represents power on the lid. This may be a pentagram, CKR or other Reiki symbol if you are a Reiki Practitioner, a cross, or a rune.

• Store in a dark place for a week.

• After a week, wipe down your front steps and threshold with the vinegar, concentrating as you do on the money it will bring.
