In rituals and spell work, purple salt is a useful aid that clears negative energy. It can be used to create an air of peace and calm so you can focus on your desired outcome. It clears and opens the third eye chakra (Ajna), which makes it ideal during healing work, Tarot readings, spiritual readings, prayer and meditation. Purple salt is also helpful in dream work and to strengthen psychic ability.
Just as purple salt clears negative energy, black salt absorbs negative energy. Add a bit to your floor wash to ward off and 'rinse away' unwanted energy. Use a small amount in the workplace to remove unwanted energy. Carry a small amount on your person to avert bullies, bad bosses, and gossip. Place a small amount in a bowl or sprinkle inconspicuously around your desk to cast a protective boundary. Use black salt in rituals where you reach across realms to connect with Spirit or ancestors.
