BREAK A HABIT
ITEMS NEEDED
Blank piece of paper
Pen or marker
Cauldron, sink, BBQ grill, or other fireproof receptacle
Matches or lighter
WHAT TO DO
During the waning moon, write the habit your wish to release on a piece of paper.
Light the paper on fire and hold it over a fireproof receptacle.
Repeat this affirmation:
I no longer want or need (tobacco, caffeine, unhealthy sex, sugar, alcohol, whatever) and release all attachments to it.
Before the fire reaches your fingers, drop the burning paper into the receptacle. As you watch the paper burn, feel your attachment to the habit slowly dissolving.
Repeat this each night (if necessary) until the moon is new, then stop (remember new moon energy is for increase).
If the habit persists, perform the ritual again between the next full moon and the next new moon until you break free of the habit.
