END AN UNWANTED RELATIONSHIP

Remember the song, Breaking Up is Hard to Do? Be prepared to perform this ritual two or three times, or more. It often works after just once, but sometimes we aren’t as ready as we think to end things.

ITEMS NEEDED

• Nail

• 2 white candles

• 2 candle holders

• a piece of string (twine is good)

WHAT TO DO

• Using a nail, engrave your name on one of the white candles, and the other person’s name on the second white candle.

• Place the candles in holders and position 7” apart.

• Tie one end of the string around one candle holder, and the other end around the second candle holder.

• Stare into the flames of the candles and say aloud:

As the fire burns this twine, you go your way and I’ll go mine. with peace between us for all time.”

• Repeat this ritual as often as you feel necessary until the relationship is completely severed.
