WANING MOON ANTI-ANXIETY SPELL

ITEMS NEEDED

  • 1 vanilla bean pod

  • Sandalwood incense

  • Amber resin

  • Charcoal disk

  • Fireproof dish

  • 1 black or gray candle (for protection)

WHAT TO DO

  • Set aside a small piece of the vanilla bean

  • Grind together 1 tsp. each of sandalwood, amber, and the remainder of the vanilla bean. You can do this with a mortar and pestle or using the backside of a spoon.

  • Burn the mixture on a piece of charcoal.

  • Light the black or gray candle

  • Rub the set-aside piece of vanilla bean in your palm until the gentle friction releases the aroma.

  • Focus on the flame and rub more of the vanilla essence on your temples.

  • Place your hand over your heart.

  • Continue to focus on the flame of the burning candle.

  • Visualize clearing all anxiety from your mind.

  • Think about the goodness in your life and the wonderful future ahead.

  • Say:

“La lune, goddess of the moon,

As you may grow, so do I.

Here, tonight, under your darkest light,

I embrace all within me that is good and right,

And bid goodbye to all the rest.

And so it is."

  • Blow out the candle and throw it into a fireplace or place it in your cast iron cauldron to burn away. It must be completely destroyed, as it now contains the energy of your anxiety and fear.
