FEET BLESSING RECIPE & RITUAL

In my youth, foot care was limited to an occasional pedicure which may or may not have included a foot massage. Beyond that, my feet did not get a second thought. Yet, they continued to support, balance, and stabilize my entire physical existence. They took beating after beating after beating, and never failed to do their job. Then it happened, I got older and my feet grew tired of the abuse. They began to complain and grumble and, occasionally, toss me to the ground in frustration. I finally got the message.

Whenever something or someone gives and gives and gives, it is spiritually and energetically inappropriate to take and take and take without expressing gratitude.

I have learned to engage in body-speak. The body speaks to us all the time. Pain, pleasure, physical reactions, and sensations are a language. Years ago, at the ripe old age of 55, I began to listen and respond to what my feet were trying to say. Here is my twice monthly foot blessing to thank my feet for helping me to walk in balance, support my knees hips and spine, and for ambulating me from place to place.
