  • Almond extract

  • Lavender essential oil

WHAT TO DO

  • Slowly warm 2 cups of goat’s milk on the stove.

  • Add almond extract and lavender oil in small amounts until the aroma pleases you.

  • At bedtime, run a warm bath and add the mixture to the water.

  • Relax and soak for at least 20 minutes. Light candles or listen to soft music if preferred.

  • While relaxing in the bath, repeat:

I have done my best for today.

I have earned my rest for tonight.

I have put my love into all my deeds.

I have used kindness in all my thoughts

I close this day with pure joy and now drift into a sound sleep.

SELF-ESTEEM BATH RITUAL

Anyone can be hit with bouts of low self-esteem. It may be triggered by a criticism, an old, untrue belief about oneself, or programmed in through self-abuse and abuse inflicted by others. Some of us are internalizing the ills of America right now and feeling attacked by the patriarchy that works against our freedom and independence. Healthy self-esteem must be cultivated and nurtured on an ongoing basis. This bath should be done once monthly for 13 months during the crescent moon. It supports the release of unwanted thoughts, feelings, and energy, while inviting self-acceptance, self-love, and a shift in perspective from negative to positive.

ITEMS NEEDED

  • 1 tbs. artemisia

  • 1 tbs. marcela

  • 1 liter filtered water

  • 7 rose petals

WHAT TO DO

  • Beat and strain 7 rose petals

  • Pour water into a relaxing bath

  • After stepping out of the tub, sprinkle rose petals from heat to toe.

JUDGMENT FREE BATH RITUAL FOR SELF-TRUST

The purpose of this bath ritual is to release judgment and instill trust in your own intuition. You will also open yourself to receive abundance and grace.

ITEMS NEEDED

  • 1 c. Epsom salt

  • 1 c. pink rose petals

  • 2 tbs. activated charcoal

  • 2 tbs. spirulina

  • 1 c. any kind of milk

  • 3 sliced oranges

  • 1 cinnamon stick

  • 1 charcoal disk for burning

  • Cauldron or other fireproof dish

  • 12 d. jasmine essential oil

  • 12 d. sweet orange essential oil

  • 1 amethyst crystal

WHAT TO DO

  • Place all ingredients into a tub of water at the temperature of your choosing

  • Place an amethyst crystal on the edge of the tub or in the water

  • Ignite a cinnamon stick and waft the smoke around

  • Place cinnamon stick in fireproof dish on top of lighted charcoal disk

  • Step into bath and submerge your head underwater

  • Rise to the surface and sing a song that helps you open yourself for release of negative energy

  • Take 10 deep cleansing breaths

  • Sit and soak in the magic you’ve created

  • After the bath, clean the area and rest with your legs up the wall for 10 minutes

SKIN SOOTHING BATH TEA RECIPE

This bath soothes the skin and increases circulation.

ITEMS NEEDED

Use 1/2 cup each:

  • Comfrey leaves

  • Chamomile flowers

  • Lavender flowers

  • Mint leaves

  • Yarrow flowers

  • Elder flowers

WHAT TO DO

Place comfrey, chamomile, lavender and mint in a cheesecloth or nylon bundle and let steep in the bath for a few minutes.

The bundle can be used to gently scrub the body as well.

SELF-CLEARING BATH RITUAL

This self-cleansing ritual was designed to cleanse the body, mind and spirit of residual negativity after being involved in magickal battles.

ITEMS NEEDED

  • White candle

  • 9 d. myrrh essential oil

  • 3 d. frankincense essential oil

  • 1/8 c. sea salt

WHAT TO DO

  • Place a white candle so that its light can shine upon you when you are in the tub.

  • Add myrrh oil and frankincense oil to 1/8 cup sea salt and place this next to the bath (do not add to the water yet). Be certain that you will not be disturbed for at least 20 minutes to an hour (preferred).

  • While looking at the candle, recite the following:

Spirits of Fire do I call upon thee. Send thy divine fire and burn through the darkness. Shed thy light upon me and clear the shadows of my soul.

  • Get in the bath and recite the following:

Oh Spirits of Water do I call upon thee. enter this sacred space and lend me thy cleansing powers. From the waters welcome and to water we return.

  • Add the salt mixture to the water and recite the following:

Oh Spirits of Earth do I call upon thee. Ground and disperse all that is not of light. Mix with me and cleanse me of the weight of darkness.

  • Relax and feel the light and warmth. Breathe in the vapors of the oils and recite the following:

Oh Spirits of Air do I call upon thee. Thou are my breath and my life. Let me breathe in thy light and release the smoke of darkness.

  • Breathe and feel the energy about and within you, the light of fire burning away what clings to you. Let the water's warmth wash through you and lift away the darkness. Feel the salt cling to the darkness and ground it for you. Feel your lungs fill with light and carry out the fog of darkness as you exhale. Remain in the bath until you feel that all the darkness that will release has left you.

  • Stand or kneel, and pull the plug from the tub.

  • As the water drains, recite the following:

As we come from the waters so shall we return. Oh Earth, Air, Fire, and Water, take from here the darkness. Disperse it and ground it. Let it weigh upon me no more.

  • Dry off and put out the candle. Thank Divine and the Spirits that have supported your cleansing.

RITUAL PREP BATH SOAK & RITUAL

This bath is for anyone who is preparing to work magick, psychic work, healing work, spells, rituals, astrology readings, or any other insightful or energy transforming or shifting practice.

Equal parts of the following herbs

  • Basil

  • Fennel

  • Hyssop

  • Lavender

WHAT TO DO

  • Light a white candle

  • Run a 1/4 tub of very warm water and add the herbs

  • Relax in the bath, squeezing the bag to release the herbs

  • Clean your body with a natural soap

  • After the bath, take the white candle into the space where you will perform the work. The same candle can be used to light whatever other candles you will use.

PAIN RELIEVING BATH SOAK RECIPE & RITUAL

ITEMS NEEDED

  • Muslin bag

  • Dead Sea salts

  • 2 tsp. lavender buds

  • 1 d. lavender essential oil

WHAT TO DO

  • Fill muslin bag 1/2 way with Dead Sea salts.

  • Add 2 tsp. lavender buds.

  • Add one drop of lavender oil.

  • Tie the bag closed and add to a bath.

  • As you feel your body soaking up the herbs, oil and salts, close your eyes and say:

Aches and pains and evil things, fly from me on rapid wings. Leave my body, don’t return, for peace and quiet I do year. Surround me in Her radiant light. Magic Power pure and white. Banish forces of the night.

LOVE 'EM OR LEAVE 'EM SPELL

This ritual will help you find and return to your center of gravity after a fight or when ending a relationship.

ITEMS NEEDED

  • Rosemary essential oil (calming)

  • Peppermint essential oil (rids you of lethargy)

  • Lavender essential oil (cleansing)

  • Thyme essential oil (helps mental exhaustion)

WHAT TO DO

  • At noon, when the sun is at its most powerful healing position, run a warm bath. Add essential oils under the running faucet.

  • Soak and steam while reciting 4 times:

HEALING BATH RITUAL FOR SICKNESS

ITEMS NEEDED

  • Silver or White Candle

  • Salt

  • Healing Oil Blend or Healing Essential Oils of Your Choice

WHAT TO DO

  • Take a silver or white candle, salt and a healing oil of your choice into the bathroom. By the candle's light, run a tub of very warm water.

  • Cast some salt into the water and add a few drops of your chosen healing oil.

  • Step into the tub and immerse yourself. Feel the warm water passing through the skin, penetrating your pores, purifying and sterilizing the sick areas of your body.

  • Visualize black worms leaving the body. When you feel the worms in the water in great numbers, pull the plug and let the water drain out. While the water is draining chant:

The sickness is flowing out of me, into the water, down to the sea.

  • After the tub is completely drained, stand up. Turn on the shower and bathe as usual to remove any traces of the sickness.

  • Repeat as needed to speed your body's recovery.

HEALING BATH RITUAL FOR STRESS

ITEMS NEEDED

  • 10 d. Olive Oil

  • 10 d. Cypress Essential Oil

  • 10 d. Lavender Essential Oil

  • Sandalwood Essential Oil

  • Yellow and blue candles

WHAT TO DO

  • Run a tub of hot water. Add 10 drops olive oil, 10 drops cypress oil, and 10 drops lavender oil. Anoint your hands with sandalwood oil. Skim your hand over the surface of the water 7 times while saying:

Into this water, the power I send, Stress shall unwind, wounds shall mend.

  • Light yellow and blue candles. Enter the tub and soak for at least 20 minutes. Visualize the vapor softening your stress and hurts and taking them away.

BLESSING BATH RECIPE & RITUAL

ITEMS NEEDED

  • 1 quart of Himalayan salt or Epsom salt

  • Juice of 2 freshly squeezed lemon

  • 1/2 cup of sesame oil

  • 4 drops each of lavender and jasmine oils

WHAT TO DO

  • Place salt in a large bowl.

  • Add lemon juice, sesame oil, and essential oils.

  • Stir until well mixed.

  • When your tub is 1/3 full, add 1/4 of the salt mixture under the faucet. Inhale deeply.

  • Say these words:

Remove from me anything impure of heart, spirit, and mind. My wish is to once again become whole, free of pain and sadness, and filled with all that is better in me.

  • When the tub is full, step inside and repeat the prayer. Use the rest of the salt to gently massage your body.

BITTERS HEALING BATH RECIPE

Bitters are good for the body, inside and out. They help us recover from illness, remove bad vibes, and clear energy blockages. The bitters in this powerful bath are best used during a new moon to support healing.

ITEMS NEEDED

  • 1/4 c. basil leaves

  • 1/4 c. sage leaves

  • 1/4 c. parsley leaves

  • 1 bag or pouch made from natural cloth

  • 1 c. spring water

  • 1 c. tap water

  • 1 c. holy water

  • 1 large bowl

  • 6 d. eucalyptus essential oil

WHAT TO DO

  • Bless all items by placing them on your altar, or by praying over them or sending Reiki. Use whatever method resonates with you.

  • Place the leaves in the cloth bag.

  • Heat water on low in a saucepan until it begins to simmer.

  • Remove pan from heat and set aside.

  • Place bag of leaves into a large bowl and pour the hot water over the bag, making an infusion.

  • Add 6 drops eucalyptus oil.

  • Cover the bowl with a clean natural fiber cloth overnight.

  • In the morning, remove the herb bag and discard it.

  • Use this infused herb mixture in a bath, soaking for at least 20 minutes. For best results, use within 24 hours.

  • 1-2 Tbls. milk (goat milk, cow milk, milk of your choice)

  • Rose petals

WHAT TO DO

  • Draw a bath. Add milk and water to glass bowl and say:

Water ripples on the breeze.

  • Add several rose petals to the bowl and say:

Thistledown flies through the air.

  • Stir the water, milk and rose petals with the index finger of your dominant hand and say:

Silent as the mighty seas.

  • Gently pour the mixture into the bath and say:

Peaceful here without a care.

  • Step into the bath and soak for at least 20 minutes. Feel free to re-warm the water by running additional hot water so you can soak for as long as you like.

  • Let the water absorb negative thoughts and worries. Allow yourself to languish in moments of healing peace.

  • When you exit the tub and pull the plug, give thanks for universal support of peace and calm.


WISDOM BATH RITUAL

ITEMS NEEDED

  • Quartz crystal

  • 1/2 c. lavender flowers

  • 1/2 c. chamomile flowers

  • 1/4 c. honey

  • 5-10 d. bergamot essential oil

WHAT TO DO

  • Using a French press or small pot, steep botanicals in 34 oz. water for 15-20 minutes.

  • Draw a hot bath

  • Strain the botanical tea into the bath

  • Add honey and essential oil to the water

  • Place clear quartz on the edge of the tub where you can comfortably see it

  • Immerse yourself int he bath and stare into the quartz crystal until you feel connected with your Higher Power

  • Silently repeat:

I am connected with my deepest wisdom.

  • Continue to say this to yourself for as long as it resonates with you.

  • After your bath, you can take time to reflect and write in your journal. PROSPERITY BATH RITUAL

Best performed 3 nights before the full moon, the night of the full moon, and 3 nights after the full moon using the same candles.

  • Money Bath Salts

  • Altar Candle

  • God & Goddess Candle

  • Lodestone oil

WHAT TO DO

  • Bring energy through the head and feet to rid the body of any negativity.

  • Immerse yourself in the water and focus on your goal. Soak for 20 minutes.

  • Exit the tub and allow negativity to drain out with the water. Give thanks.

  • Cast a protective circle using salt.

  • Light altar candle.

  • Light God & Goddess candle

  • Anoint green pillar candle with lodestone oil or a prosperity oil. While anointing, visualize energy flowing from you into the candle.

  • Light the green candle and meditate on your goal while staring into the flame.
